Rubber molding process

The rubber mixture is placed in the model, using the vulcanizer pressing process under specified conditions of time, pressure and temperature. The main process includes mixing - mixing - extrusion - feeding - molding - vulcanization - mold opening - burr removal - inspection - packaging - storage. The products using the molding process are: miscellaneous parts, sealing rings, oil seals and so on. Rubber extrusion process

The rubber material in the extruder screw extrusion, through a certain shape of the mouth (hollow products are mouth core type) for continuous modeling process. Generally, according to the type of polymer processed and the shape of the product or semi-finished product, the extruder, head and mouth die are selected, as well as the corresponding auxiliary devices such as styling and traction, and then the extrusion process conditions such as screw speed, head pressure, material temperature, and styling temperature, traction speed are determined. The process is mainly used for the production of rubber products with complex section shapes or hollow, such as rubber hose, tape, tire tread rubber and so on. The main process includes hot refining of rubber (cold feed extrusion does not need to go through hot refining), rubber supply, extrusion, cooling, cutting, picking and parking. In actual production, extrusion process can be divided into hot feed extrusion method and cold feed extrusion method according to the feed form. In the extrusion process, the material is generally plasticized, but the styling method is different. For example, the extruded plastic often needs to be cooled to make it solidified, while the semi-finished product of extruded rubber needs to be further vulcanized. Products using the extrusion process are: rubber seal, rubber hose, rubber sheath cable.

Rubber injection technology

The rubber material is injected directly from the cylinder into the model vulcanization molding method, which mainly includes feeding, plasticizing, injection, pressure holding, vulcanization, molding and other processes. The process requires the same temperature of the inner and outer layers, and can be quickly vulcanized during vulcanization. In the actual production, adjusting the viscosity of the compound Mooney, rationally designing the vulcanization process and selecting the appropriate vulcanizing agent and accelerator are helpful to improve the production efficiency and yield of injection molding recycled latex products. The rubber products produced by this process have good quality and are widely used in automotive, medical, machinery and other fields.


Process flow

1. Preparatory work: including rubber raw material screening, drying, preheating and other operations, as well as mold design, manufacturing and debugging.

2. Material production: The dry rubber particles are added to the rubber extruder, and the material is pre-treated through a series of processes such as heating and extrusion.

3. Molding: The pre-treated rubber material is sent into the mold by the injection machine for the molding process. At this time, a certain pressure and temperature need to be connected to make the rubber raw material form the product of the desired shape and size.

4. Compression release: After the molding is completed, it is necessary to cool down and release the rubber products from the mold.

Process characteristics
